2020: Sharing Success Stories of the China Overseas Tianjin Project Collaboration
In 2020, China Overseas (Tianjin) Data Technology Co., Ltd. undertook a project that included Phase I with 120 server cabinets and 4 cold aisles, as well as Phase II featuring 235 server cabinets and 6 cold aisles. Both phases were custom-designed according to the client’s specific requirements. Throughout this collaboration on the hot-and-cold aisle solution, our company fully demonstrated our expertise and agile adaptability in data center cooling solutions. Addressing the customer’s demand for high-performance, energy-efficient data centers, we not only meticulously planned the initial layout of Phase I—comprising 120 server cabinets paired with 4 cold aisles—to effectively separate hot and cold airflows and significantly enhance energy efficiency—but also expanded the scale further in Phase II, adding an additional 235 server cabinets and extending the system to 6 cold aisles. This expansion perfectly accommodated the growing computational demands and heat dissipation needs driven by business expansion. By delivering deeply customized designs, we ensured that each cold aisle was precisely tailored to match the cabinet layouts and equipment heat output, enabling precise temperature control while maximizing energy utilization. This successful partnership underscores China Overseas Technology’s strong foundation in technological innovation and its profound understanding of customer needs, setting a benchmark for the industry in deploying and optimizing hot-and-cold aisle configurations. It also paves the way for future collaborations, serving as a key driver behind our fruitful partnerships with institutions such as the Beijing Ministry of Natural Resources’ Ocean Mitigation Center, the Beijing Yonghe Temple Project, and a certain military project in Beijing.
