Overview

   Photovoltaic combiner boxes are used in photovoltaic power generation systems to reduce the number of cables connecting photovoltaic modules to inverters. Protected by specialized photovoltaic fuses, circuit breakers, and surge arresters, they enhance reliability and facilitate system maintenance.

   Users can connect a specified number of identical PV modules in series to form a string based on the inverter's DC input voltage range. Multiple strings are then connected to the array's surge-protected combiner box. Output is protected by surge arresters and circuit breakers, simplifying connection to downstream inverters.

  • The combiner box incorporates a modular intelligent monitoring unit that detects current, output voltage, enclosure temperature, surge arrester status, and circuit breaker status for each string of modules;
  • The intelligent monitoring unit features a digital display capable of showing current, voltage, power, temperature, device address, and device ID directly on the unit; The entire modular combiner box intelligent monitoring unit consumes less than 4W power with a measurement accuracy of 0.5%;
  • Supports multiple remote data transmission methods, providing RS485 and wireless ZigBee interfaces. Communication ports incorporate built-in surge protection to safeguard device interfaces.
