Finen Electronics Cold/Hot Aisle Containment System is a specialized technical solution designed to reduce the temperature of heat-generating equipment in data center facilities. Data centers frequently face challenges such as high equipment density, rapid heat generation, significant energy consumption for temperature control, and limited space within rooms and cabinets. By appropriately implementing this cold aisle solution, data centers can significantly enhance cooling efficiency while maximizing the utilization value of cabinet and facility space.

Simplicity: Solution-based productization, fully modular architecture, deployable on demand

  • Cold aisles feature a modular unit design where each unit can be installed independently and connected to adjacent units, offering high interchangeability and flexible assembly. The frame connects to the cabinet's horizontal supports, reinforcing the aisle while facilitating future expansion.
  • The cold aisle's upper canopy features a flat-top structure designed 350mm higher than cabinet tops, with a total width of 1305mm. It employs a modular grid standard design for strong interchangeability and easy installation.
  • Three skylight types are available: fixed, movable, and functional. When movable skylights are opened, the cold aisle maintains a clear height of no less than 2 meters, ensuring unimpeded routine maintenance.

Green: Energy consumption of the temperature control system reduced by 8-15%.

  • A pair of automatic sliding doors is installed at both the front and rear ends of each row, providing excellent sealing to effectively prevent hot air from entering the equipment.
  • Cold aisle sliding doors are designed to remain closed by default, equipped with concealed automatic closing mechanisms. Door panels incorporate buffer sealing devices for enhanced protection. Bidirectional sliding handles provide smooth operation, with precise alignment to racks ensuring gaps under 3mm.

Intelligent: Intelligent 3D visualization management provides an at-a-glance overview of critical information and alerts for power distribution, cooling, environmental conditions, and more. Automated large screens deliver intuitive displays.

  • Each cold aisle features independent environmental monitoring, continuously tracking temperature and humidity values within the aisle. Visible 7- to 15-inch LCD touchscreen displays are installed on the aisle exterior to monitor temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure conditions. (This is an optional accessory; not included as standard equipment.)
  • Cold aisle pre-installed ports integrate with the data center fire suppression system. Upon receiving fire suppression switch signals, they automatically activate the movable roof panel to meet fire suppression requirements within the aisle.
